Amairany was born and raised in north Denver. She is a ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ alum with a Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Amairany's commitment to guiding students through their college experience developed during her role as a Peer Advising student employee. Since then, she has been passionate about helping students navigate the different layers of college life.

Outside of work she likes to read, make pinatas, and hang out with her family, husband and three cats.
