The conference is supported by funding from the NSF as well as generous contributions from the Linguistics Department and the Institute of Cognitive Science.

The conference will be held (in hybrid modality)Ìýat the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵÌýbetween 17-19 November 2025.Ìý It includes six state-of-the-art talks on the themes of language processing, multilingualism, literacy, and first language acquisition. Of special interest to students are two tutorial sessions on The documentation of child language in diverse communities and The processing of language in children with typical and atypical development.

We are accepting abstracts until 31 August 2025.Ìý Further details can be found on on the SAFAL abstractÌýsubmissions site. We will announce the final program and begin conference registrations via our website in late September.
