Bio
Clare is a 4thÌýyear PhD candidate working under Dr. Cassandra Brooks. Her initial research focused on Antarctic toothfish aging methods and international marine conservation policy. She's since expanded her dissertation research to land-based conservation research and creative writing. As an undergraduate at Princeton, Clare studied . Throughout her twenties, Clare was a full-time professional ultrarunner supported by Patagonia and La Sportiva. She's still running professionally, albeit racing less now that she's deep into her graduate studies.Ìý
