Learn about campus history and operations through the New Employee Welcome Experience
Human Resources is now offering a virtual edition of the New Employee Welcome Experience (New-Xv). New-Xv is part of the comprehensive, year-long onboarding experience designed to increase the understanding of what it means to work at ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ. The format of the program guides employees through historical retrospective of ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ from its inception to current day. In the session, participants learn about:
- Notable people
- Notable locations
- Significant events
We illuminate how and why ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ became the institution it is today. We also explore present day organizational structure & governance, operations and campus initiatives.
New-Xv is held via Zoom and uses a mixed media approach to tell ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ’s story. Due to course popularity, participants are asked to commit to the entire 2.5 hour course. This program is ideal for employees in the first 12 to 18 months, and there is no cost to attend. This program is provided by Organization & Employee Development in the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Department of Human Resources.Â
