International Affairs Program | IAFS 1000: Global Issues and International Affairs
The International Affairs Program is hiring Teaching Assistants (TAs) for Fall 2025 to support IAFS 1000: Global Issues and International Affairs. We are hiring:
- Five 50% appointments (~20 hours/week, tuition remission for 9–18 credit hours)
- One 25% appointment (~10 hours/week, tuition remission for 5 credit hours)
Eligibility & Requirements:
- Must be a full-time, degree-seeking graduate student on the Boulder campus
- Have a background in global topics (broad range of expertise on international affairs welcomed)

IAFS TAs are expected to:
- Attend IAFS 1000 lectures
- Prepare for and facilitate weekly recitations (50% = 2 recitations, 25% = 1 recitation)
- Hold office hours, assist with grading, and perform other course-related responsibilities as requested by the faculty member
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
