Professor Gang Cao Research Group

Our research explores the discovery, synthesis, and control of quantum materials, where electrons interact in complex and surprising ways. We focus on materials in which strong spin–orbit interactions and electron correlations give rise to exotic quantum states. Collaborating with scientists worldwide, we strive to advance the science of next-generation quantum materials that could drive future breakthroughs in quantum technology.
