Spring 2026 | Residence Hall Housing Application Process

We look forward to being your new home for the spring 2026 academic semester. Spring housing assignments will fill vacancies that are created at the end of the fall semester. First-year students, defined as those graduating from high school during 2025, are required to live in the residence halls, regardless of classification. Those who are not defined as first-year can also consider apartment style campus housing or off-campus housing options.

Spring 2026 housing is limited. The application will be open Oct. 6 – Nov. 23 and all students who apply during this time will receive housing.Ìý

Applications completed after Nov. 23 will be placed on a waitlist and will be assigned by date priority. Waitlisted students can check their placement starting Dec. 3 by emailing UniversityHousing@colorado.edu.Ìý If we will be unable to house you, an email will be sent to your Colorado.edu email address, by Dec. 12, explaining the process to be able to seek off-campus housing.ÌýÌý

Disability and Religious Accommodations

ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ provides reasonable housing accommodations to residents with disability or religious-related needs. Our website can assist in learning more about disability accommodations and how to start your request. For religious accommodation, please email University Housing.Ìý

In order toÌýapply for spring 2026 housing:

  • You must confirm your intent to enroll and activate your Identikey before you can login into and apply for housing.
  • We do have a first-year live-on requirement for our residence halls, and due to space availability, we do not guarantee spring housing nor an assignment to any particular building, type of accommodation or with a specific roommate in any of our housing options. Assignments will be to vacancies created at the end of fall semester.
  • The housing application includes a $250 deposit and a $50 non-refundable application fee totaling $300 when offered a contract. Any student who previously paid a 2025-26 $50 application fee will be exempt from this fee.*Ìý

*Tuition and fees are just one part of the overall cost to attend ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ. The full cost of attendance for an academic year could include expenses such as campus housing and food, books and supplies, and items that are not billed by the university, such as personal expenses, transportation and medical insurance. View the full cost of attendance.Ìý

Once a student has signed the contract, submitted an application fee and a deposit is on file, they are held to the terms of the contract.Ìý
