Welcome to the ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ Retired Faculty Association

Retirement should be viewed as a new beginning: a time to redirect and refocus our attention to interests previously unpursued, and a time to take on new, novel challenges as the landscape of the Boulder campus and the landscape of higher education, in general continues to evolve in the 21st century. With this in mind, the CU Retired Faculty Association at Boulder (CURFA) was established in 2020 to facilitate successful retirement experiences for current and soon-to-be retirees, andÌýencourage retired faculty members to remain actively involved in academic, educational, scholarly and cultural activities on the Boulder campus. The association is supported and funded by the Office of the Chancellor, the Office of the Provost , and the Office of Faculty Affairs, and is closely allied with the Boulder Faculty Assembly (BFA).

CURFA at Boulder serves as the principal venue for retired faculty members to remain involved in activities at ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ. Participating in CURFA at Boulder is a way for retired faculty members to maintain social, intellectual, and professional contacts, contribute to the Boulder Campus, and remain informed about on-campus developments and retired faculty benefits programs.
