NEW! STEM Pathfinder Programs

STEM Pathfinder Programs are two-week immersive experiences for high school students (rising 10th, 11th, or 12th grade students) designed to explore diverse fields within biosciences or engineering at ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ. As part of this program, STEM Pathfinders will also explore majors, student resources, and life on campus. Four participating CU departments will host students for two days, during which time they'll get an opportunity to dive in to hands-on activities, join lab tours, and engage in conversations with faculty and students.

Program Details:
  • Day 1: Program kick-off including an exploration of life as a CU student through tours and a Q&A session with admissions.Ìý
  • Days 2-9: Participants will spend two days at each of the four CU departments where they'll learn unique and interesting facts about the fields of study, including academics, research, and career pathways.Ìý
  • Day 10:Program close-out and reflection.

  • Engineering Pathfinders: July 13-24, 2026

  • $1300 (Limited need-based scholarships are available.)Ìý

*The above fields are provided to give applicants an idea of what topics could be included in STEM Pathfinders Program. Each year, this program relies on the willingness of departments to participate in the program. As such, Science Discovery cannot guarantee that a specific research topic will be offered in any given year.Ìý
