As the campus community prepares for a COVID-19-ready fall semester, the implementation teams of the Road Map to Fall 2020 share regular updates. In this issue: disinfecting foggers, hybrid classrooms for in-person and remote individuals, course pre-registration and more.

Campus leadership announced that the on-campus events moratorium will be extended through at least Aug. 16. The moratorium had been slated to run through July 31.

The U.S. Department of Education recently issuedÌýnew guidelinesÌýfor how universities and K-12 schools will investigate and adjudicate sexual misconduct allegations. The new rules take effect on Aug. 14.

As staff, faculty and students start returning to campus, we want to make sure our community is equipped for a safe return. As part of this effort, Health and Wellness Services has established a hotline and email account to address common questions.

With students, faculty and staff preparing to return to campus this fall and some already on campus, ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ is launching a public health awareness and accountability campaign called Protect Our Herd aimed at normalizing behaviors to curb the spread of COVID-19 on campus and in the broader community.

Staff members: Attend a forum with campus leadership to hear about the state of the campus, actions affecting personnel and more. Staff Council wants to help keep you in the know.

ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ’s Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) is offering weekly wellness seminars and support groups in August, focused on mental and emotional wellness during challenging times.
