IDEA Council proposes program to establish faculty and staff affinity groups
Building on its commitment to improving the university’s recruitment and retention of students, staff and faculty this year, the IDEA Council has proposed a program that will facilitate faculty and staff participation in campus affinity groups.
Do COVID vaccines prevent transmission? ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ kicks off national trial
ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ was the first site to roll out a federally-funded study led by the COVID-19 Prevention Network at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. Study leaders vaccinated 11 of the roughly 700 ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ student volunteers who will ultimately participate.

Actress and activist Jameela Jamil to give virtual talk April 8
Jameela Jamil, star of NBC's The Good Place and a writer and activist, will give a ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ talk at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 8. The Cultural Events Board, a ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ student-led organization, is hosting the event.
