- The University Libraries will host Maya-Tsotsil filmmaker Xun Sero for a screening and conversation of his film "Mamá" ("Mom"), the film's themes, and the libraries' commitment to showcasing Indigenous voices and stories in their collections.
- Lily Gladstone is best known for her starring role in Martin Scorsese's "Killers of the Flower Moon" opposite Leonardo DiCaprio. Her performance earned her the 2023 Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Motion Picture.
