Visual Arts Complex Building
7:00 AM to 7:00 PM the doors to the building are unlocked
After-hours from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM the doors are locked
- Cardswipe (CCure) access only. Swipe your BuffOne card to open the VAC door.
- Access is given to students enrolled in classes held in the visual arts complex. Including AAH students and centrally scheduled students with their BuffOne cards.Ìý
24/7 Building Access
- Given to faculty, staff, grad students, and pre-authorized undergrads using the Buff OneCard cardswipe
Authorization required
- 24/7 building access forÌýundergraduate studentsÌýmust be made through faculty orÌýarea tech.
- Student employees will need to contact their supervisor for 24/7 building access.
University-wide Building Access
During certain holidays and breaks, the building may be locked and accessible only to those withÌý24/7 building access.
The Administration Office is located on the 3rd Floor:
- Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:00 PM
- Closed Saturday, and Sunday

Visual Resources Center
We provideÌýand facilitate access to images, imaging, and related information resources for teaching, learning, and research in the Department of Art and Art History.
We support AAH students and faculty through:
- A digital library including student work, images used for teaching, videos from the Visiting Artist program, and other content reflecting the Department’s research and curriculum;
- Computer stations, scanners, software, training, and support in digital imaging, image research, and classroom presentations;
- Equipment, facilities, and training for documenting creative work/research andÌýmanaging digital archives, and support for designated classrooms within the department.

Labs & Workshops
The Woodshop embraces methods of making influenced by both western and eastern philosophies to provide students with choices and possibilities as they explore technical and creative problem-solving.ÌýThis valuable resource supports coursework across the Art and Art History curriculum. Whether students are fabricating sculptures or installations, laser cutting, 3D printing, making canvas stretchers, or building fine stringed instruments, staff members with professional expertise are available to train and mentor in planning, executing, and installing projects.

The Metal Shop is open to students working on coursework for current Art & Art History classes, as well as students doing work and research for the BFA and MFA programs. The shop is also open to faculty and staff for department projects, research, and developing coursework. Anyone working in the shop must take the general safety orientation before beginning work.
