Christine Kuglin brings more than 30 years of experience in teaching, taxation, and accounting practice. She previously served as a NASA grant accountant, managing multi-million-dollar federal awards, been a tax preparer for many years, and has held academic appointments at five diverse post-secondary institutions. Her leadership roles include serving as a full-time Assistant Professor at Eastern Washington University, Chair of the School of Professional Accounting, and most recently, Director of Truth in Accounting at the University of Denver. In addition, she has taught taxation at both the Daniels College of Business and the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver.

In 2025, Christine and her co-authors received the prestigious Author AwardÌýfrom the Journal of Government Financial ManagementÌýfor their article, Digital Data Standards Support Greater Transparency and Opportunity in the Municipal Bond Markets. Earlier, in 2019, she earned national recognition as the American Bar Association Tax Championship winnerÌýwhile completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

Christine holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting, a Juris Doctor with an emphasis in Corporate and Commercial Law, and a post-JD Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation. She is an actively licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Washington State and admitted to practice law in both Washington and Colorado.
