May 10th 2025, the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) commemorated its 75th anniversary with a series of NSF STEM Day events across the country. Since 1950, the NSF has invested in ideas and innovations across all fields of science and engineering. Many of theÌýÌý– including GIS technologies, the internet, AI and Duolingo – are the result of NSF investments in STEM.
