Pre-Health Pathways
We recommend connecting with the Pre-Health Advising Team as you explore career paths in health professions and highlight a number of opportunities to gain research experience in related areas. Some of these programs are intended for students with prior experience, but many are designed as entry-level opportunities for students with little to no experience.
If you're considering postgrad education, such as medical school, you might look for programs hosted at institutions you're considering. You can learn about the school, location, and even make connections to assist your application in the future. If you're planning to spend your summer away, explore options hosted at institutions near home, etc.
ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ's Office of Pre-Health Advising (OPHA) offers resources and expert staff who know each profession's pathway and all of the alternative routes. OPHA serves all students at ÌÒÉ«ÊÓƵ, regardless of major. They help you create a personal journey toward your goal and support you as you navigate that path. OPHA also has access to many resources not included here and will help students prepare competitive applications to programs.
